What is BookToilet?
BookToilet helps Berlin become more visitor-friendly by connecting people who need a restroom with small local businesses that choose to help — in exchange for a small fee. Visitors discover participating places on a map, walk in, and complete payment at the restroom door. The fee is shared with the shop.
How it works
For shops (partners)
- Your shop appears on the map as a participating location
- We provide a QR code placed at or near the restroom door
- Visitors scan and pay online on the spot
- Access stays informal and respectful — no extra steps required.
- Monthly payout
For visitors
- Check the map to find a nearby participating shop
- Walk in and ask if needed
- Scan the QR code at the restroom door
- Pay online and use the restroom
Simple flow: map → walk in → scan at the WC → done.
