What is BookToilet?
BookToilet is a Berlin pilot project that helps small local businesses offer restroom access in a simple, paid, and controlled way. Visitors discover participating places on a map, walk in, and complete payment at the restroom door by QR code. The fee is shared with the business.
How it works
For businesses (partners)
- Your location appears on the map as a participating partner
- We provide a QR code placed at or near the restroom door
- Visitors scan and pay online on the spot
- The process stays simple and respectful — with no new hardware required
- Monthly payout
For visitors
- Check the map to find a nearby participating location
- Walk in and ask if needed
- Scan the QR code at the restroom door
- Pay online and use the restroom
Simple flow: map → walk in → scan at the WC → done.
